Day 01: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your safari driver-guide will meet you and transfer you to your accommodation in Arusha. After a warm welcome, you’ll check in to your lodge, relax, and prepare for the exciting adventure ahead. If time permits, enjoy a short city tour or explore Arusha’s local markets.

Day 02: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After a delicious breakfast, you’ll depart Arusha and head toward Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, embark on a game drive through this iconic park, known for its large elephant herds and towering baobab trees. Tarangire is a wildlife haven, home to a diverse range of animals, including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of bird species.

The park’s unique landscape, with its sprawling savannah and riverine woodlands, provides an excellent backdrop for wildlife viewing. Day 03: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive to Serengeti (Central Seronera)

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage site, often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” is a haven for wildlife, including elephants, lions, black rhinos, and a wide variety of bird species. The lush caldera and stunning surroundings make for a magical wildlife experience.

In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and drive toward Serengeti National Park, specifically the central Seronera area. Upon arrival, check into your lodge before heading out for an afternoon game drive to explore the wildlife-rich landscape. Serengeti’s diverse habitats, from open plains to riverine woodlands, provide excellent opportunities for spotting the Big Five and other iconic species.

After the game drive, return to your lodge for a relaxing evening and a delicious dinner.

Day 04: Serengeti (Seronera Area)

Today is dedicated to further exploration of the central Serengeti. After an early breakfast, set out on a full day of game drives, where you’ll get the chance to witness a variety of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, hyenas, wildebeests, and zebras.

In the afternoon, stop for a picnic lunch in a scenic area, then continue exploring the park. Serengeti’s central region is known for its large populations of predators, and the chances of witnessing a hunt or spotting lions and leopards are high. Return to your lodge in the late afternoon, where you’ll have time to relax and enjoy a delicious dinner.

Day 05: Serengeti (Central) to Northern Serengeti (Kogatende Area)

After an early breakfast, depart the central Serengeti and head toward Northern Serengeti, the heart of the Great Migration. The drive itself is an exciting game-viewing experience, passing through varying ecosystems of the Serengeti.

Upon arrival in the Kogatende area, check in at your luxury camp and enjoy an afternoon game drive. This area is known for its dramatic Mara River crossings, where large herds of wildebeest and zebras brave the crocodile-infested waters in one of nature’s most incredible spectacles.

Day 06: Northern Serengeti (Kogatende)

Spend the full day in the Kogatende region, where the Great Migration reaches its peak during the dry season. The Mara River crossings are a highlight of the Serengeti experience, with tens of thousands of wildebeest and zebras attempting to cross the river to reach greener pastures. Predators like lions, cheetahs, and crocodiles are often in close pursuit.

Your guide will take you to the best spots for viewing the river crossings and other wildlife in the area. This is also an excellent opportunity to spot giraffes, elephants, buffalo, and other iconic species. A picnic lunch will be provided in a scenic spot, and you’ll have time to relax and enjoy the stunning surroundings before returning to camp.

Day 07: Northern Serengeti (Kogatende) to Arusha

After a final early morning game drive in Northern Serengeti, you will return to your camp for breakfast. Following breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Kogatende Airstrip for a scenic flight back to Arusha. Upon arrival in Arusha, you’ll be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward journey or to your hotel for an overnight stay.
