7 Days Northern Serengeti Migration Safari
Day 0: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), you will be welcomed by your professional safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, relax at the lodge before your safari briefing. Enjoy your overnight stay as you prepare for your Serengeti Migration Safari.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. Famous for its ancient baobab trees and impressive elephant herds, Tarangire is also home to lions, leopards, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest and more than 500 bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing your afternoon game drive.
In the late afternoon, drive to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Karatu to Central Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and continue into Serengeti National Park. Enjoy wildlife viewing throughout the journey before arriving in Central Serengeti for an afternoon game drive. This region is well known for its resident lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants and abundant plains game.

Day 3: Central Serengeti to Northern Serengeti
After an early breakfast, continue your journey toward Northern Serengeti. This scenic drive follows the migration route and offers excellent opportunities to spot wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, elephants, lions, cheetahs and hyenas.
Arrive in the Kogatende region during the afternoon and enjoy an evening game drive before settling into your luxury tented camp.

Day 4: Full-Day Northern Serengeti Migration Safari
Spend the entire day exploring Northern Serengeti in search of the Great Wildebeest Migration. Between July and October, this region provides the best opportunity to witness the famous Mara River crossings, where thousands of wildebeest and zebras brave crocodile-filled waters. Throughout the day, your guide will position you at the best wildlife viewing locations while searching for lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs and other iconic African wildlife.

Day 5: Full-Day Northern Serengeti Migration Safari
Enjoy another full day dedicated to the Great Wildebeest Migration. Having two full days in Northern Serengeti greatly increases your chances of witnessing dramatic Mara River crossings and unforgettable predator action. Explore different sections of the Kogatende region while searching for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, crocodiles, hippos, lions, leopards and cheetahs before returning to camp for dinner.

Day 6: Northern Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive before travelling south through Serengeti National Park. Continue with wildlife viewing as you make your way to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving at your lodge on the crater rim or in Karatu in the evening.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater Tour and Return to Arusha
After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. Home to the Big Five and one of Africa's highest concentrations of wildlife, the crater offers excellent opportunities to see black rhinos, lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, flamingos and many other species. After a picnic lunch, ascend the crater and drive back to Arusha, where you will be transferred to your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward journey.
