Zanzibar to Serengeti

The adventure begins as you’re picked up from your hotel in Zanzibar and transferred to the airport for your flight to the Serengeti. A scenic journey in a small plane takes you over breathtaking landscapes, setting the stage for an unforgettable safari experience.

Upon landing in the Serengeti, your guide will meet you and take you on your first game drive. In a customized open-roof vehicle, you'll explore the park’s vast plains teeming with wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, elephants, and endless herds of wildebeest and zebras. As the sun sets over the savannah, you’ll head to your lodge for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay amidst the wilderness.

Serengeti >>Ngorongoro Highland

On the second day of your fly-in safari from Zanzibar, start your morning with a half-day game drive in the Serengeti. Witness the park's incredible wildlife as the golden light of dawn highlights the vast plains. Keep your camera ready for sightings of predators like lions and cheetahs, as well as herds of zebras and wildebeest grazing peacefully.

After your morning adventure, your guide will drive you to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, take in the stunning scenery as you ascend towards the crater. Upon arrival, settle into your lodge for a delicious dinner and a restful evening, preparing for the next day’s exploration of the famous Ngorongoro Crater.

Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive

Begin your day with an early breakfast before descending into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This vast caldera, teeming with wildlife, offers a chance to see an incredible variety of animals, including zebras, buffalo, wildebeest, and majestic elephants, all thriving in this unique ecosystem supported by year-round water sources.

As you traverse the crater floor, keep an eye out for lions, hyenas, jackals, and, with luck, the elusive leopard. Visit Lake Magadi, a shimmering alkaline lake where flamingos and other waterbirds gather, adding vibrant color to the landscape. After a rewarding game drive, you’ll head back to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay or transfer to the airport for your return flight to Zanzibar.
