The elevation range for this excursion is 2,100 m to 2,650 m. 7 kilometers of hiking is required altogether. The duration of the hike is approximately five hours. Drive to the Londorosi Park Gate after breakfast. The trip takes roughly three hours. On Kilimanjaro, one of the best opportunities to see big game is during the trip through the Shira plateau. Approach Mti Mkubwa camp on foot. When you go to the campsite, spend some time to set up camp before sitting down to eat.
  • Day 3: Mti Mkubwa Camp >> Shira Camp 1
The elevation range covered by this excursion is 2,650 m to 3,610 m A total of 5 kilometers of hiking is required. The hike should take between four and five hours. It's a fresh day, so get up to breakfast and get ready to do the short journey from Mti Mkubwa to Shira camp. Typically, this takes no longer than 5 hours, although adequate acclimatization necessitates rest. The campsite is dominated by the west face of Kibo, also known as Kilimanjaro. Lunch, setting up camp, a nap, or a day trek are all options. Large bushes and wildflowers dominate the environment as this journey winds into the lower moorland.
  • Day 4: Shira Camp 1 >> Shira Camp 2
takes a 10-kilometer hike overall. The hike should take between four and five hours. After eating breakfast, you leave your campsite and start a quick climb to Shira Camp 2. This makes it the ideal day for acclimatization.
  • Day 5: Shira Camp 2 >>> BARRANCO CAMP
This journey covers an elevation range of 3,850-3,900 meters. An overall hike of 10 kilometers is required. The duration of the hike is roughly 7-8 hours. After around 5 hours of walking, you arrive at Lava Tower, which is located in a semi-desert and rocky environment to the east. Lava Tower has an elevation of 4630 meters. Before climbing the difficult scree trail to Lava Tower, lunch is served in a designated area (4600m). The hardest day thus far, without a doubt. Often, at this stage, some climbers will experience dyspnea, irritation, and headaches for the first time. You descend again by over 500 meters to the Barranco camping area after lunch, and after arriving at Lava Tower's high altitude of 4600 meters, the day's actual acclimatization advantage becomes apparent. It takes around two hours to descend to Barranco camp, and along the way there are wonderful photo possibilities of the Western Breach and Breach Wall. As you wait for the preparation of your meal and overnight stay at Barranco Camp, you should be able to enjoy a magnificent sunset from the camp, which is located in a valley below the Breach and Great Baranco Wall.
  • Day 6: Barranco Camp >> Karanga Camp
The elevation range covered by this excursion is 3,960 m to 4,035 m A total of 5 kilometres of hiking is required. The duration of the hike is approximately five hours. • Day 7: Shira Camp 2 >>> BARRANCO CAMP
day of adaptation Enjoy a trek to Barafu Camp for acclimatization after breakfast. After dinner, head back to Karanga Camp to spend the night. This provides excellent acclimatization, increasing your chances of summit success.
  • Day 8: Barranco Camp >> Barafu Camp
This route travels between 4,035 m and 4,670 m above sea level. A total of 5 kilometres of hiking is required. The duration of the hike is approximately five hours. Although the tents are completely exposed to the constant gales, they are set up on a rocky, narrow ridge that is both perilous and secure. To prevent any mishaps, make sure you are familiar with the terrain before it gets dark. You will now do the final ascent that same night, which is another 1345 meters to the top. Get ready for your summit attempt by getting your gear, ski pole, and thermal apparel ready. This should include changing the batteries in your headlamp and camera, and you should also have a spare pair on hand. It is advisable to transport your water in a thermal flask to avoid freezing. Go to bed at around 19:00, try to get some rest, and limit your sleep time to five hours.
  • Day 9: Barafu Camp >>> Mweka Camp
This journey spans elevations of 4,640 m, 5,895 m, and 3,090 m. Overall, 17 kilometres of hiking are required. The estimated hiking time is at least 15 hours. You'll get up around 23:30, have some tea and cookies, and then head out into the night. Toward Stella Point on the crater rim, you will move northwest and climb through steep scree. For many climbers, the most physically and mentally taxing section of the route is the six-hour hike to Stella Point. You will pause for a brief rest at Stella Point (5685m), where you will be rewarded with the most spectacular sunrise you are ever likely to see (weather permitting). On your two-hour ascent to Uhuru Peak from Stella Point, you will typically experience snow the entire time. The weather conditions will determine how long you stay on the peak. Stopping here for too long will make it very challenging to restart because of the cold and exhaustion. Take pleasure in your success and a day you will never forget. After reaching the summit, it takes roughly three hours to return to Barafu. Before moving down to Mweka Camp for dinner and the night, you will take a well-earned but brief break here to gather the rest of your things.
  • day 10: Mweka Camp >> Mweka Park gate
The elevation range covered by this excursion is 3,090 m to 1,650 m. An overall hike of 10 kilometers is required. The hike should take between four and five hours. You will walk for an hour through mud from the Mweka Gate into the Mweka settlement after breakfast. Drive to Hotel in the Mweka village, where you will be served a sumptuous hot lunch and a long-overdue hot shower. Wonderful hotel stay . At the conclusion of their vacation, tips are greatly encouraged and appreciated. At the Hotel, tips can be provided to the tour guide. Successful climbers can also pick up their summit certificates here.
